Looking Ahead to the 2017 MSST Mass Storage Conference

Quantum Startup Rigetti Computing gets $64M Funding

- Rex Computing has their produced their processing chip and thing works.
- Intel has brought their first Octane branded SSDs to market. Based on the 3D XPoint technology developed with Micron, the devices offer 3X performance of traditional NAND at three times the price (at least initially).
- The GW4 unveiled the ARM-based Isambard supercomputer at the UK Met Office. The announcement was part of the launch of six HPC Centers in the UK.
